Голова Управління зовнішніх церковних зв’язків архієпископ Рівненський і Острозький Іларіон засудив теракти в Брюсселі, що сталися 22 березня 2016 року та висловив співчуття сім'ям постраждалих.

З глибоким сумом сприйняв звістку про теракти в Брюсселі, які сьогодні мали місце в серці об'єднаної Європи.

Тероризм не має виправдання ні в якій формі та ні під якими гаслами. Це є зло, яке має не тільки бути морально засуджене, але і покаране відповідно до міжнародного законодавства.

Сьогодні ми, як ніхто, розуміємо біль всієї Європи, оскільки самі є об’єктом тероризму та агресії з боку Росії. Тому у цей важкий час українці разом із всією Європою. Віримо, що зло буде покаране, а невинні люди – більше ніколи не відчують такого жаху.

Висловлюю глибокі співчуття сім’ям загиблих і бажаю якнайшвидшого одужання всім постраждалим.

Нехай Всемилостивий Господь упокоїть душі загиблих в оселях праведників, а всім пораненим і постраждалим подасть здоров’я і Свою благодать.

 Chairman of Departament for External church Relations condemned the terrorist attacks in Brussels and expressed condolences to the victims

Head of Department for External Church Relations Archbishop Іlarion of Rivne and Ostroh condemned the terrorist attacks in Brussels, which occurred on March 22, 2016, and expressed condolences to the families of the victims.

With deep sadness we accepted the news of the terrorist attack in Brussels, which took place today in the heart of a united Europe.

Terrorism has no justification in any form and under any slogan. This is an evil that must not only be morally condemned, but punished under international law.

Today we, like anyone, understand the pain of whole the Europe, as most are the subject of terrorism and aggression from Russia. Therefore, in this difficult time we Ukrainians support and remain with Europeans.

We believe that evil will be punished and the innocent people - never feel such fear.

I express my deep condolences to the bereaved families and wish speedy recovery to all the injured.

May the Merciful Lord repose the souls of those killed in the homes of the righteous, and to all the wounded and the victims let Him give health and His grace.
